The term Cloud conjures up various descriptions but the simplest one is; software and services that run on the Internet. The most applications and services are run in some way on a Cloud whether that be a Public, Private or Hybrid solution. All our clients have some form of Cloud solution within their IT architecture. As such we as Network, Development and Infrastructure specialists have to be well versed and experienced in what the Cloud is, what it can deliver, how it is presented, how is maintained and how it is managed.
It can be very easy to over complicate the Cloud and end up with a solution that could be costly, have data being stored inappropriately (IE; in a location outside the jurisdiction of the organization) or levels of service not appropriate to the requirements of the organization.
