Many companies use the Public Cloud either directly for running their systems/applications or indirectly using the services provided by companies that are using the Public cloud.
Our experience with the Public Cloud is mainly with the major players, Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google. Many say that AWS is best for Web applications, Google for big data and analytics and Azure for Microsoft products and in some cases, we have worked with organizations that use all three as well as as having on-premise infrastructure. This type of configuration needs to be carefully considered, planned, implemented, and managed.
The major benefit of using the Public Cloud is no capital outlay, lower IT overheads and its elasticity. But the disadvantages are lack of customization, potential governance issues and potential latency problems.
We believe that our extensive experience and skills in Networking, Infrastructure and DevOPs gives a vital edge especially when organizations are making major changes like a migration.
